Last minute light at Paia Bay
Hey baby, I'm listening to you tell me all about you great weekend with your family. The light in your voice fills my heart with warmth, like the warmth I feel in these sunsets I watch while thinking of you. I love your new/old enthusiasm for life. I sit with my toes in the sand thinking that soon you'll be sitting behind me rubbing my shoulders giving me inspiration through your endless creativity. I LOVE YOU! I'm sorry I spilled the beans on this little surprise. I hope it's as special to you as this time of day is for us to me.

Haleakala from Paia Bay
I sat at Paia bay for what felt like an hour waiting for the sun to show its colors through the rain. I'm turning to leave when I see that the frame is really behind me magenta against (the house of the rising sun) Haleakala. I love this time for my self in the day. I read and listen to crashing waves. I just wish you were here with me. It wont be to long I hope.

Almost Missed Splendor
I had to add two to this one. I was on the phone with you when i took these shots. I was so upset only to find when i got home that it was, as always, gorgeous and color saturated. A quick crop or two later and this is what i got. Thank you for being my muse on this occasion and every one here to come. Thank you for being you.

Dinner at Mama's Fish House
Dinner at Mama's exceeded my every expectation. The service, atmosphere and food were impeccable. It blew me away. I wished i had been sitting with you holding your hand in this intoxicatingly romantic place I call my work. I was amazed to feel the feeling, I can't wait to experience it again in a different way with you!

I thought of you and where we were last fourth: At a parade where I got my palm read, ate a great hot dog, got heat stroke and woke up in a strange house to find you in boxers swimming in a tiny pool. ha ha ha. you hopped a fence to pick me Sunflowers and I loved you for it!
